Marketing Online Is Not For You… if

I’m gonna take the time now to address the fact that Internet Marketing is NOT for everyone (despite what the ‘gurus’ have told you).

Now… don’t get me wrong. As it pertains to business, the information the BIG dogs giveaway, and sell WILL make you money, but NOT if you implement them right away, but if you have the TECHNICAL ‘know-how’ that it takes to get them DONE.

Let me explain…

I’m estimating here but from my experience, I can say and believe that 75% of marketing online is all technical. I mean once you know how to…

• find and buy a domain name
• get a hosting account
• upload your site to the internet
• know some basic html
• get an auto-responder service
• place auto-responder capture form on site
• design a squeeze page
• create a payment button
• deal with ‘zip’ files
• install tracking
• and do some basic SEO…

you can then say with confidence, I now know what it takes to start marketing online. Because to be honest, once you know how to do all these things, and they become sorta “second nature”, the intermediate & advance technical strategies will come easy; things like installing scripts, pop-ups, installing blogs, templates, and some other stuff…

I’m not writing this post to put anyone down, it’s simply a wake up call if you were caught up with all the million dollar hype. The strategies and tactics the ‘guru’s sell may very well be as good as they say, because once you have your online business set up and running, AND making you money, simple tweaks in the way you monetize that traffic that you’re already getting can dramatically increase your profits…

But again, stay away from the million dollar hype if you’re just starting out and go learn the basics above. If you know all that, then go do it right NOW!! If you know and done everything in that list above, leave me a comment or question to see if I can help you with anything.
